Brief About Scholar: Dr. Alberta David Nsemo is a senior Lecturer with the Department of Nursing Science, University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. Currently on sabbatical leave serving as the head of department of midwifery with the Garden City University College, Kenyase, Kumasi, Ghana. She is a registered Nurse/ Midwife and holds a BNSc. (Nursing), PGD (Education), MSc. (Medical Sociology), Ph.D (Medical sociology), Ph.D (Advance Midwifery & Neonatology). She also has a certificate in HIV/AIDS Food & Nutrition Security, certificate in HIV Counselling & Testing, Behaviour change communication and health promotion. Alberta has been engaged for over twenty years by GHAIN and GEDE Foundations as a consultant in HIV/AIDS counselling and testing, serves as a national facilitator on Prevention of Mother To Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS, adherence counselling, counselling and testing of key populations and partner notification services. With her wealth of knowledge, skills and disposition for capacity building, interdisciplinary team work, and communication and information technology competence, she has been involved in several researches in the field of HIV/AIDS. Alberta is a member of Association of Nurses in Aids Care (ANAC), and a Fellow of West African College of Nursing.
