D in chemistry in the year 2004 from Mumbai University,India.The title dissertation: Titled âœExtractive Spectrophotometric Determination Of Ni(II),Co(II) and Pb(II) and their sequential separation by using α-oximinoacetoacetanilidebenzoylhydrazoneâfrom Institute of Science , University of Mumbai.Recognised Research guide for Msc by research and Phd students. Authored 14 research articles of National and International repute such as American Journal of Pharmatech Research,Journal of Applicable chemistry,World Journal of Pharmaceutical Research, Int J Pharma Res Health Sci., International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology, The International journal of analytical and experimental modal analysis. Research projects include ,one minor research project titled âœSpectrophotometric determination of metavanadate using Tannic acid as a reagentâfor the period of one year, funded by University of Mumbai. Another minor research project, titledâThe Spectrophotometric determination of Tannins,Vitamin C and Anion in herbal formulations ,Synthetic mixers and real samplesâ for the period of two years ,funded by University Grant Commission.
Scientific interest: My approaches in research include
a)Spectrophotometric determination of cations and anions in synthetic mixtures and real
samples like vegetables, Medicinal plant extracts,Pharmaceuticals .
b) Standardisation of Herbal formulations.
c) Quantitative analysis of Phytochemicals and comparative antioxidant activity in
different formulations
