<strong>Name of Scholar: </strong> Prof. Navaneeta Rath and Barsha Biswal<br><strong>Brief About Scholar: </strong>Prof. Navaneeta Rath teaches Sociology for the last thirty one years having her Ph.d. from Utkal University and Post Doctoral degree from the University of Wuppertal, Germany. She was a consultant to the World Bank and the UNDP. Her area of specialization is Gender studies and Development studies. The author has authored 11 modules and 7 books. She has successfully completed 17 projects. 51 articles of her have been published by various national and international journals. She is a trainer on Gender Issues and on Qualitative Field Research. She is into the editorial board of various journals like SEARCH, DDCE, Utkal University, Sociological Bulletin, e-journal, Indian Sociological Society,International Journal of Epidemology and Journal of Social Sciences’ (JSS), Kamla-Raj Enterprises’ journals, co published by Taylor & Francis, UK.
Barsha Biswal is lecturer in Sociology KISS, Bhubaneswar for the last eight years and presently pursuing her Ph.
