Brief About Scholar: Dr. Juhee Kim is a candidate in Education Doctorate Degree (Ed. D.) at Eastern Kentucky University. Her particular areas of interest include extracurricular and co-curricular activity, student leadership development, cultural leadership, programmatic training in leadership development and the accurate assessment of leadership effectiveness in student and professional organizations. She earned a Ph.D. in Youth Education & Leadership from Myongji University. Juhee can be contacted at juhee_kim12@mymail.eku.edu. Dr. Bill Phillips is a former Dean of the College of Education and Professor at Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, Kentucky. He has a doctoral degree in Special Education and a minor in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi. His research interests are in faculty professional development and in transition of students with disabilities from school to work. His leadership was instrumental in the development of the doctoral program. Under his direction and in conjunction with a strong faculty, the doctoral program is poised to raise the standard of P-12 education, promote student success and help schools and communities in Kentucky.
