What is Dark Web!!?
Have you ever heard the term "DARK WEB". Before I tell you what dark web is all about there is something you should know. That is SURFACE WEB. Now there may be number of questions prevailing in your mind about these things. Surface Web is nothing but the normal web we use daily for browsing , shopping and many other e-commerce activities. The terrifying truth is that surface web is only about 5%-10% of the total internet and the rest consists of the DEEP WEB and the DARK WEB.
Now let me describe you what surface web is....!!
SURFACE WEB:
As said in the above discussion "surface web" is the nothing but the world wide web which is made available for the common public and is visible to everyone. Surface web contains as many as 15 billion pages in it. And now you can imagine how vast the internet is.
DEEP WEB:
Deep web is another part of the internet other than surface web and dark web. Though the term "deep web " and "surface web" may look alike but in fact they aren't the same. Deep web is something that comes before dark web. But whereas dark web is considered to be the end part of the internet. Now coming back to our topic of discussion, basically deep web is a place where most of the illegal activities take place such as getting credit card details, bank account details, making fake id's, passports, buying weapons, hiring hitman and many more which you cannot imagine.
For an ordinary people like us cannot reach to the deep web easily. You cannot enter into that stream so easily and there is a separate browser to get in into deep web. Its called as "ONION ROUTER". This web browser is a gateway to the deep web. The name "ONION ROUTER" says that this so called deep web has many layers and it is difficult to track and trace. Even though fortunately if you get into the deep web, then there are a lot of chances of you getting frauded by them. Mainly this web consists of anonymous people like ethical and non-ethical hackers, business related people and many more.
- How does this "Deep Web" work then??
This is the most interesting part of this discussion and it is little bit related to my previous blog "CRYPTO-The Future Currency". As it was mentioned earlier , whatever activities take place in this web they are anonymous. It means that their address changes at regular interval of time so that their identity cannot be revealed. Whatever activities take place in deep web are not meant for free, one who wants to buy the service over that web should pay for it and payment takes place only through bitcoin.
DARK WEB:
Many of you by hearing this might be thinking that where does this dark web exists. Obviously its considered to be the last part of the internet(THE FINAL DOOR). The cruelest activities takes place in this web. Some of them are human trafficing, selling of drugs which is impossible to get, kidnap a person, watch out for a person whom you want to know, hiring hitman. There are many such activities which are deadlier than these. Only through these things dark web makes out its profit and it had profited up to 170 billion USD just in few months. They are many such horror things.
Now there may be a question among you that what does HITMAN mean?
HITMAN:
Hitman is nothing but a person whom you can hire on dark web. He is the person who performs live red rooms and does cruel things such as cutting nails of a kidnapped person. The sad truth is that for such activities bidding is done in huge amount to satisfy one's demand hitman does whatever he is told by the highest bidder. Red rooms are the place where these activities take place
