Google Is Discontinuing The Pixel 3A & The 3A XL

According to reports seen via Android Police, Google is discontinuing the Pixel 3A and the 3A XL lineup of budget Pixel devices. the Google Store won’t be updated with fresh stock and the phone will only be available via third party retailers with stock left in hand.

“Google Store has sold through its inventory and completed sales of Pixel 3a. For people who are still interested in buying Pixel 3a, the product is available from some partners while supplies last. “

The google store has made the phone "unavailable" on the official website, after being out of stock.

This move comes at a time when the market has been waiting for a pixel device, specifically the Pixel 4a & the Pixel 5 to show up. There is still no official news whatsoever about the status of these devices. While both of these devices have been heavily rumoured and leaked, there is no official information about their features or pricing

The Pixel 4A is rumoured to have a 5.81-inch display with 2340 by 1080 display paired with a capable Snapdragon 730 processor. The device will reportedly have a 12.2-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera alongside a fingerprint scanner and a headphone jack. We suggest you digest this information with a pinch of salt as none of these specifications has been confirmed or officially announced.

While this move might disappoint some customers who were in the market for a budget device that provides them with a stock android experience, this move might be important to google as they shift their resources into launching the new generation of the heavily rumoured Pixel devices.
