Brief Research Profile
Dr. Preeti Bhatt is an Associate Professor in English, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India. She has authored Experiments in Narrative Technique in the Novels of Muriel Spark (Edwin Mellen, 2011) and has co-edited four books including Resilience and Transformation for Global Restructuring (Ethics Press, UK, 2022) and research papers in journals and books. She has presented papers in international conferences at Oxford University, UK; NTU, Singapore; and La Trobe University, Australia, for which she was awarded Travel Grants by the University Grants Commission, and by the concerned universities, and at Feng Chia University, Taiwan and at Dubai. Dr. Bhatt has supervised eight PhD scholars and has worked on a collaborative project on Developing English Skills for Employability - Empowering Engineering Students of Rajasthan in the Globalized World under the TEQIP III CR Scheme funded by the MoE. She organized a GIAN course: South Asian Literature and Films: 1990 to Present (30 May - 4 June 2023); the International Expert was Prof. Ulka Anjaria, Director, Mandel Center for Humanities, Brandeis University, USA. Dr Bhatt is currently working as a Co-PI on a project titled A Study of the Usability and Accessibility of Various ICT Tools related to English Language Speaking and Reading Skills of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) funded by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi.
